Web and Social Media Production

  This website will be used to promote photography services provided by Lauren Krug Photos. The website will use key elements in order to promote the company and show what it does, including the biography and the portfolio. The home page of the website will be used in order to tell the audience who I am as a person and photographer, and give insight into what I do. The portfolio will be used to show the work I have done over the years, whether it be drawings, artwork, photographs, or writing pieces. It will show the diversity of the work in order to help show who the photographer is. In order to draw in the audience a very bold image from Niagara Falls was chosen for the header. Also, more neutral colors were chosen, as the company focuses on pictures that were taken in nature.  The social media projects tie into this project for many reasons. This video project would be difficult for someone who has never worked with this sort of medium before. Telling a story about someone in a brief clip can be difficult, especially when it comes to deciding what to show in it and what music should be used. Choosing how to represent a person via objects was a bit of a struggle as well, especially while in a pandemic. However, as a whole, this portion was not too difficult to complete.  There were a few issues involved in filming, editing, and uploading the video, but they were not very large problems. Filming is not something that I typically do, especially being in front of the camera. This was a very new and challenging experience. Having only used iMovie once for a project during high school it was a bit of a struggle. However, after messing around with it for a bit it was fairly easy to use.
